¡Buen trabajo! en las presentaciones del Romanticismo.

Martes: seguiremos con las últimas presentaciones  del Romanticismo. Introducción al realismo.

Miércoles y jueves tendremos un taller literario para este trabajo necesitarán llevar una imagen o recorte de un paisaje que a ud le guste, marcadores, papel construcción, cartulinas, pegamento, tijeras. 

Viernes 23: deberán llevar los resúmenes de los siguientes cinco capítulos del libro que están leyendo, con su respectivo vocabulario.

Physical Education February 12- February 16, 2018

TENTH GRADE: During this week, the students will work on developing the following fundamental skills of BASEBALL: catching, throwing, hitting and base running. Students will put this knowledge to test in games.


Required Materials for Class:  Tennis shoes, water bottle and appropriate clothing.


Optional Materials for Class:  Bug spray, hat and sunscreen.        

PLEASE TAKE NOTE: To participate in class activities and receive full credit for the class, students need to wear appropriate clothing for P.E. class.


GOALS: We will use the word RESPECT to set the main goals for the year.


Right to Learn – Every child has this right to be educated!

Effort – Win or lose, trying is the most important trait.

Safety – The number one priority each day!

Purpose – Understanding how the activity can benefit you.

Enthusiasm – Positive energy creates a positive environment!

Challenge – Challenge yourself to improve each day.

Trust/Teamwork – Work with and trust others, the result can be amazing!


REMINDER: I would like to remind you that all students need to be dressed appropriately for the days that they have P.E. class. Students should refrain from using the following:

–  Dresses for the girls

–  Jeans (shorts or pants)

–  Crocks

–  Sandals

–  Boots



Have fun!

Candy, food, and/or gum – out of sight, out of mind!

Positive attitude!

Remain in supervised areas all the time!






Language Arts – Language Arts – February 12th – 16th

This week we will continue to read 1984 by George Orwell. Students will look at the topic of synthetic foods and we will track what the class is eating and what is actually inside of those foods. We will also discuss the importance and effects of propaganda.

martes 13 de febrero estaremos empezando las presentaciones del Romanticismo. Recuerden que será rifado.

miércoles 14: retomaremos las presentaciones del Romanticismo.

jueves 15: introducción al movimento literario el Realismo.

viernes 16:  llevar los trabajos de sus diferentes funciones en los círculos literarios, de los siguientes cinco capítulos o  de acuerdo al número  de páginas de su libro si no está dividido en capítulos.

lunes 19: no habrá clases.

Language Arts – February 5, 2018 – February 9, 2018

This week we will continue to read 1984 by George Orwell. Students will continue to look at major themes in the novel, such as forbidden love, trust, and fear vs. reality. There is a reading quiz at the end of the week.
