Physical Education October 30-November 3, 2017

TENTH GRADE: During this week, the students will work on developing the following fundamental skills of VOLLEYBAL: serving, blocking and Spike. Students will put this knowledge to test in games.

 

Required Materials for Class:  Tennis shoes, water bottle and appropriate clothing.

 

Optional Materials for Class:  Bug spray, hat and sunscreen.        

PLEASE TAKE NOTE: To participate in class activities and receive full credit for the class, students need to wear appropriate clothing for P.E. class.

 

GOALS: We will use the word RESPECT to set the main goals for the year.

 

Right to Learn – Every child has this right to be educated!

Effort – Win or lose, trying is the most important trait.

Safety – The number one priority each day!

Purpose – Understanding how the activity can benefit you.

Enthusiasm – Positive energy creates a positive environment!

Challenge – Challenge yourself to improve each day.

Trust/Teamwork – Work with and trust others, the result can be amazing!

 

REMINDER: I would like to remind you that all students need to be dressed appropriately for the days that they have P.E. class. Students should refrain from using the following:

–  Dresses for the girls

–  Jeans (shorts or pants)

–  Crocks

–  Sandals

–  Boots

 

RULES:

Have fun!

Candy, food, and/or gum – out of sight, out of mind!

Positive attitude!

Remain in supervised areas all the time!

 

 

Psychology – Oct 30 to Nov 3

We will be finishing construction of mazes this week. Groups who are finished have moved on to beginning the research and write-ups of the science behind what we are doing with the mice.

Assuming that all the necessary elements are in place, the students will begin their interaction with the mice this week.

Our “Plan B” is to begin our unit on memory.

Lunes 30 terminarán con las presentaciones pendientes del Renacimiento. Se asignará el proyecto de personificación de autores renacentistas en clase se explicarán las instrucciones. Este proyecto será presentado a partir del lunes 6 de noviembre. Deberán seguir las instrucciones sugeridas por la maestra. Se calificarán los siguientes aspectos: vestuario, dominio del tema, preparación y creatividad. 
Martes 31 de octubre trabajarán en los cuestionarios del Renacimiento.

Miércoles serán las presentaciones de los géneros literarios.

Jueves y viernes  tendrán tiempo para preparar sus presentaciones de autores renacentistas.

Lunes 6 de noviembre empezamos con las presentaciones de los autores renacentistas.

Español del 23 al 27 de octubre

En esta semana solo tendremos clases  lunes,martes, miércoles y jueves.

Viernes 27 es la celebración de la Naciones Unidas.

Para el miércoles 25 será la entrega del ensayo relacionado a los valores ( heroismo, costumbres, mitología, amistad, etc) encontrados en dichas épicas. El ensayo deberá ser en columnas sin imágenes también deberá llevar portada. Letra No. 12.

Lunes 23: En esta semana estaremos estudiando el Renacimiento universal para cubrir este tema tendrán que preparar presentaciones grupales. En clase se asignarán los grupos. Los temas a exponer son el arte, la literatura, la economía y la sociedad renacentista. Se asignarán los grupos de trabajo para las presentaciones del Renacimiento.

Miércoles tendrán tiempo para trabajar en clase. Llevar materiales que necesitarán cartulinas, impresiones, marcadores, o sus computadoras portátiles.

El jueves 26  de octubre  se harán las cuatro presentaciones simultáneas esto quiere decir que los cuatro grupos  presentarán la información a su respectivo grupo 1,2 y grupo 3 y 4.
