Mr. Stewart’s Weekly Blog (Aug. 21-25) Psychology

Greetings,

We’re embarking upon a new unit this week which will be exploring the biological basis for some branches of psychology (specifically biological psychology).

This weeks topics include an examination of structure of the nervous system, the functions of various parts of the brain, and the role of hormones as produced by the endocrine system. I expect this unit will be of particular interest to students whose futures may line in the biological sciences or in the medical field.

The relevant textbook sections to complement our class time together can be found on pages 52 through 73.

Students should expect to have an assessment early next week. The assessment given at the end of last week is being scored and grades will be posted to Engrade very soon.
