Physical Education May 29-May 2, 2017

TENTH GRADE:

During this week, the students will work on Handball games. 

REMINDER: I would like to remind you that all students need to be dressed appropriately for the days that they have P.E. class. Students should refrain from using the following:

–  Dresses for the girls

–  Jeans (shorts or pants)

–  Crocks

–  Sandals

–  Boots

 

PLEASE TAKE NOTE: In order to participate in class activities and receive full credit for the class, students need to wear appropriate clothing for P.E. class.

 

GOALS:  We will use the word RESPECT to set the main goals for the year.

Right to Learn – Every child has this right to be educated!

Effort – Win or lose, trying is the most important trait.

Safety – The number one priority each and every day!

Purpose – Understanding how the activity can benefit you.

Enthusiasm – Positive energy creates a positive environment!

Challenge – Challenge yourself to improve each day.

Trust/Teamwork – Work with and trust others, the result can be amazing!

 

RULES:

Have fun!

Candy, food, and/or gum – out of sight, out of mind!

Positive attitude!

Remain in supervised areas all the time!

On this week, we will work on the proper usage of verb tenses as we focus in:
  • conversation
    • Past, Present & Future
  • presentation
  • express & exchange opinions
…over feelings, emotions, and ideas; focusing on the proper usage of 
verbs and adjectives as we unfold the lesson.
We will approach this lesson by reviewing the following topic:
A School Year
  • How was it at the beginning?
    • past
  • How do I feel right now?
    • present
  • What are your goals for next year?
    • future

…introducing more vocabulary for the month of  

   May
                 …and how your five senses are used – “connected” in identifying this vocabulary.

…using, as an invariable practice, possessive adjectives, and possessive pronouns as we unfold the lesson:
Singular: my /mine, your /yours, his /his, her /hers, it /not used 
Plural: our/ours, your/yours, their/theirs
Singular: mi/mío, tu/tuyo, su/suyo, su/no se acostumbra
Plural: nuestro/nuestro, su/suyo, su/suyo
HW: Homework will depend on daily exercises or activities that are done in class.
Students will complete at home unfinished classwork.
 
However, students must review the lessons and practice the activities/exercises every day.
